Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise AMS Account Executive to drive sales of our enterprise software solutions to associations and member-based organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing complex, multistakeholder deals and an understanding of the association solution landscape.

 

Note: This role requires 50% travel in the US.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

A Day in the Life

  • Manage a sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, demonstration, to deal close and account transition to the professional services team
  • Be able to clearly articulate the value proposition and competitive advantage of selecting Momentive Software
  • Perform detailed discovery meetings with key association staff
  • Conduct product demonstrations onsite or remote (with assistance from our Sales Engineering team) to prospective customers
  • Possess a strong understanding of Momentive Software products, strengths, and competitive landscape
  • Create and target strategic accounts and report
  • Report and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas and KPI’s set by management
  • Maintain accurate record keeping of all sales activities in Salesforce.com and Salesloft.com
  • Nurture relationship with industry consultants
  • Participate in industry conferences and trade shows
  • Must be able to travel 50%

We are looking for someone who brings

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience, with a preference for least 3 years selling to associations, member-based or non-profit organizations
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota ($2M+ annual)
  • Passion for technology solution sales to deliver business process improvement 
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles (6 to 12 months) with multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of association management software
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree required

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience with Association Management Systems (AMS), learning management systems (LMS), or similar enterprise software
  • Knowledge of association governance, operations, and revenue models
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms
  • Active participation in association industry events and networks
