Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Paralegal (remote) to join our growing team!

 

*This position is remote in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Summary

  • Assist in implementing legal and compliance-related policies and procedures
  • Draft, file, and manage various business entity filings for corporate entities, US and international
  • Draft and file legal contracts, correspondence, and other documents
  • General support for legal department function

A Day in the Life

  • Create and process corporate documents
  • Organize and maintain legal resources and associated Sharepoint portal materials
  • Review and modify contract forms such as sales agreements and change orders
  • Maintain orderly processing of purchase orders and invoicing
  • Assist with paperwork required by regulatory bodies
  • Respond to Requests for Information, subpoenas, written discovery, litigation support
  • Assist with ethics and compliance programs
  • Perform legal research and analysis upon request

We are looking for someone who brings

  • Paralegal certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 7 - 10 years corporate legal experience 
  • Driven and self-motivated with a strong desire for learning 
  • Extremely organized with a strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with members of other departments to support their functions as well as to assist in supporting the legal staff   
  • Ability to work independently while functioning well in a team environment
